GENUKI - UK and Ireland Geneology - The aim of GENUKI is to serve as a "virtual reference library" of genealogical information that is of particular relevance to the UK & Ireland. It is a noncommercial service, provided by an ever-growing group of volunteers in cooperation with the Federation of Family History Societies and a number of its member societies.
     
Guild of Freemen of the City of London - The Guild of Freemen of the City of London is a large association of individuals with a special interest in the City. Membership is open to all Freemen of the City of London, regardless of nationality, gender or religion, and membership is drawn from all over the world, bound by a common interest in the City of London and the welfare and education of its citizens.

The Company of Cordwainers of the City of York - Cordwainers were shoemakers and derived their name from the Spanish city of Cordova, which manufactured the finest leather from goat's skins. This is recognised in the Company Arms of three goat's heads, with a fourth as a crest. The Company of Cordwainers shares the use of Bedern Hall with the Freemen.
     
The Merchant Adventurers - In1357 a number of influential men and women came together to form a religious fraternity and to build the Merchant Adventurers Hall. By 1430 most members were merchants and mercers, and alongside the fraternity they set up a trading association or guild. They used the Hall to transact their business affairs, to meet together socially, to look after the poor and to pray to God.

York Guild of Building - The York Guild of Building was founded in 1954 to encourage communication between the many different sections of the building industry. It has as its objectives the advancement of design, management, science and craft in building and the encouragement of a better understanding of the problems and achievements of those engaged in building. The Guild of Building shares the use of Bedern Hall with the Gild of Freemen.

York Mystery Plays - The York Mystery Cycle usually comprises some 48 pageants, illustrating the Christian history of the world from Creation to Last Judgement. The next quadrennial production by The York Guilds will take place on two consecutive Sundays 9th and 16th July 2006.
